Description -
Finally an affordable and simple plug and play chassis mounted splitter for the MQB platform , fits all mk7 golf , mk3 cupra etc. The aerodam is screwed in place by yourself when installing to match the profile of your bumper as thats the only thing that differs between models!
These splitters are not your usual screw on to the bumper type, such as maxton that most likely hurt the aero of the car. These are not fixed to the bumper in anyway at all and only attach to the front crash bar!
Aerodynamically proven to work by our mk7 gti test golf! This splitter comes with a range of adjustments to suit individual tracks as well as a high enough mounting point to be able to run this splitter on a road car without issue!
Whats in the kit?
- CNC Cut brackets enabling plug and play fitment with the front crash bar bolts (Crash bar does not need to be removed for install!) This is a superstrong proven design and yes, you can stand on the lip of the splitter when installed and it takes your weight just fine! ;)
- Aerodam with brackets and screws
- CNC cut motorsport approved 'buffalo board' , the strongest and most robust weatherproof material for the job in our opinion. Its not cheap but they work very well! CNC cut for perfect fitment everytime, even the holes are pre drilled for you , installation couldnt be simpler!
- All hardware for install
Its worth noting that there is a large range of adjustment on this splitter, we run it on the higher but not highest setting and its absoutely fine to drive on the road! obviously this can vary depending on the roads you live near etc.
Splitter comes unpainted , theres no need for special paint or treatment just spray paint the splitter the colour of your choice however you fancy.
We tried a few times to save money and cut the splitter ourself but to get it perfect is just near on impossible, and you could argue that it wouldn't make much difference however having a varying difference of protruding splitter across the bumper would equal varying downforce characteristics. It's just not worth the risk of hurting the performance of the car, so CNC cut it is!
